Scanned Images of Newport Folk & Newport Jazz Festivals as well as the Rhythm & Blues Festivals from late 80's through the 90's. Many of these prints have been autographed by the artists and some with inscriptions. Enjoy a trip down my memory lane through the festivals over the years. Plan to visit the page again as I continue to add images after scanning. Current collection has material scanned through 1997 and a few additional frames from later years leading to the early 2000s when digital images were collected. The transition over the first several years remained with a focus on film and transparencies until digital improved in quality and attainability. Images in other galleries show the early digital frames in Jazz and Folk galleries from 2002 and 2003. By 2004 a DSLR affords a much improved palette upon which to work.
