NE Patriots 2019 Champions Final Cut
NE Patriots 2019 Champions Final Cut
The New England Patriots have clenched their 6th Super Bowl Win. While it was not the most remarkable win, it was a Win and when that happens there is a Victory Parade in Boston. I was lucky to attend in 2015, missed it in 2017 but brought myself back this year to be a part of the madness. The weather was unseasonably mild so the people came out in droves, estimated at 1.5 million. Who knows for sure? The people were largely well behaved and made the experience fun by being themselves. A very rabid group of die-hard fans with every kind of Official Gear imaginable.
I collected memories through the throngs and am happy that I went. I was only saddened by a couple things. One was that the big confetti blowing machine crapped out just before it reached me - they were throwing it by hand which was funny. The other had to do with folks throwing bottles and cans across the route AND some players throwing cans off the floats and mistakenly, sadly hitting a little kid. I captured a flying bottle flying over Brady and 2 flying over Edelman. Not a good scene.
Enjoy the trip from afar and please help me out with the names of a few of the folks that I've noted who remain unknown to me.
It was an honor to see Tom Brady again with his children by his side. I consider it living history and one never knows about the future. Go PATS!
