I braved the rain and crossed the bridge to Jamestown for a view on the race as their approach to land is closer there at the turn. I collected some soggy memories and a couple videos as well. In particular, I enjoyed the video of Vestas 11th Hour Racing changing strategy and doing a full 180 to point at MAPFRE and then circle around behind her. From my vantage point it was clear they would collide but perspective covers a LOT of ground at this distance.
I've put a focus on getting these shots loaded and shared quickly. With that, there has been little time for addressing some of the factors of light associated with shooting in the rain. I've given attention to a couple of frames which will stand out in their comparative clarity and saturation as I cut through the fog and rain.
