Day 4 of Newport Folk ON 2021 or the 1st day of the second block. With concerns over Covid-19 the festival capacity was cut in half but the performance days were doubled. Tickets were sold in 3-day bundles. This gallery represents the first day of the second bundle. Confused? I didn't think so. By now I am hitting my stride with a new sleep-eat schedule and feel like a partially oiled machine. When not picking up artists I was able to shoot these acts on 2 stages (instead of the typical 5 stages) - Courtney Marie Andrews, Fruit Bats, Hiss Golden Messenger, Middle Brother, Ben Gibbard, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Nightsweats, Billy Strings and Birds of a Feather (brothers of The Black Crowes).
This second opening day was a huge crowd pleaser.
