Day 2 of Newport Folk ON 2021 Tuesday found me earning my keep and on the road to a fair degree. I was able to capture the group Bonny Light Horseman which features 3 artists in their own right and most notably Anaïs Mitchell who has won a Tony Award for The Broadway production of Hadestown which won eight Tony Awards in 2019 including the Tony Award for Best Musical. Mitchell received the Tony Award for Best Original Score; she was also nominated for Best Book of a Musical. The Broadway cast album of the show took home the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album in 2020.

Also, you are not seeing double as many or the acts featured this year are involved in more than one project. While hearing and seeing totally different groups you may in fact be seeing some of the same people.
