Newport Folk ON 2021 - Wednesday Highlights
The final day of Newport Folk ON 2021 featured another stellar mix of performers. I was able to shoot from mid afternoon and caught Jonathan Russell, Black Pumas, Julien Baker, Watchhouse (formerly mostly Mandolin Orange), Deer Tick and Lake Street Dive.
I tip my hat to all of the Festival Production staff who were able to organize a show of this magnitude in such a short period of time. The Governor made pronouncements in March 2021 that there would be music in Newport this summer. With the uncertainty of Covid and the Delta variant we were extremely fortunate to have perhaps the first festival of this magnitude in the USA in 2021. Cheers! I remain proud to be on the home team.
