The Columbus Theater was built in 1926 and then became idle in 2009 after fire codes were changed forcing them to close the doors. The theater reopened in a REVIVAL on 11-17-12 with several groups. the main stage featured 4 acts as did the balcony stage which seats approximately 200. The theater appeared in fine repair with the sell of fresh paint all about. The photo 'pit' was actually the orchestra pit stage front with a 3 foot drop. Mayor Angel Tavares made an appearance and afforded a Citation to John Berberian, owner.
