This was the 1st and opening evening of shows from Newport Folk hosted at the Newport Blues Cafe http://www.newportblues.com featuring Deer Tick and Friends. Tonight featured Joe Fletcher and The Wrong Reasons and the group Dawes. All 3 nights were sold out well in advance and it was a great place to enjoy a terrific night of music.
