Dominican Republic
Dominican Republic
We spent a week in Dominican Republic from 4/2/11 - 4/9/11 in the southern part of the island called Boca Chica, named after one of the original tribes that inhabited the island before Columbus arrived in early 1500s and changed the world. We stayed on the Be Live HAMACA site for the majority of our stay with the exception of a half day trip into Santo Domingo and a full day trip to Catalina, an island about 2 hours away. On balance we had a good time but were thrilled to return home. We both picked up a stomach bug which antibiotics are currently addressing. Please enjoy some of the images of our stay and as always, please comment on any photo or the gallery. I love your feedback.

This is a panoramic shot of Catalina Island off the Dominican Republic. It is a collection of 8 images taken side by side and then stitched together. The best way to view it is to use the X2Large option and then scroll across the image for the details along the way. Enjoy and let me know how you like it.
