On 10/15/08 I took a much anticipated helicopter tour of Kauai with the helo doors off. I had researched the company and this looked like the best arrangement for my needs. I went during the second week of our vacation after the first had been picture perfect. What I could not have anticipated was VOG (volcanic fog) which rolled in the day before my tour from the active volcano from a neighboring island. One gets only one chance in life and the flight was going to go regardless and I was booked. I got some amazing views herein and can only imagine what it might have been. Life is too short for me to stress over the "what ifs". If not for the helo, I would never have seen a waterfall with 5 tiers...count them, FIVE.
